Free Concert with Conversation with Cellist

Friday, November 8 from 6:00-7:00pm

Free Concert with Conversation with Cellist Pieter Wispelwey

Dutch cellist Pieter Wispelwey is part fervent, accomplished traditionalist and part trail-blazing iconoclast, acclaimed for “playing that is at once supremely lyrical and furiously intense.” (The Guardian, UK) His intensely personal interpretations of Bach’s Cello Suites have enthralled audiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Wispelwey perform in the intimate setting of Community Music Center’s 130-seat concert hall. Note that there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience during or after his performance.

Community Music Center would like to thank San Francisco Performances for bringing Wispelwey to our stage for this free, community concert.
